The diabetic versions of these medications are Ozempic and Mounjaro, respectively. They are the same exact medication with different labels. Yes, these medications can be incredibly valuable tools for many of our patient’s weight loss journeys. But here’s the interesting part: they’re not the silver bullet you might expect. This is crucial for individuals with diabetes and can contribute to weight loss.
