Frequently Asked Questions
Where is your office located?
We’re located just south of the San Tan 202 on Higley Rd. Our office is on the east side of Higley in the Higley Park Commons. Click here for directions.
Do you take insurance?
We do not take insurance for our visits as we prefer to spend our time with our patients instead of negotiating with insurance companies. If you need labs, imaging, or other insurance-based items, you are still able to use your insurance for those. You may also have out-of-network benefits. We can give you a superbill to get reimbursement from your insurance (this does not apply to medicare patients)..
Do you accept HSA or FLEX spending for payment?
Yes! Both HSA or FSA (Flex Spending Account) can be used to pay for appointments, treatments, and services.
Do you offer primary care services?
While we are not a primary care center or urgent care, we do provide some of the same primary care services for our patients if you’re feeling sick or need help treating an illness.
Do you see patients remotely via Telehealth?
Yes. After your initial visit, if you need to meet with your provider remotely we can schedule a visit via Zoom.
Do I need a consultation if I know what kind of treatment I’m looking for?
We will always listen to your thoughts and recommendations and help you implement them. But meeting with you for an initial consultation helps us see your bigger healthcare picture so we can personalize your plan and help you meet your goals.
Can I choose which provider I see or do you assign me one?
Yes, if you know which provider you’d like to see you are welcome to request or schedule an appointment with them. If you do not have a preference, we are happy to connect you with the right provider based on your overall goals or the purpose of your visit. You can learn more about our providers here.
What is PHYSIQ?
PHYSIQ Body Contouring is an FDA-approved, non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses advanced technology to eliminate stubborn fat in targeted areas of the body. Thermal (heat) energy from super luminescent diode matrix (SDM) destroys fat cells, which are then naturally eliminated by the body over time, while electric stimulation engages the underlying muscle. This process also stimulates collagen production, resulting in skin tightening and improved tone.
What kind of hormone replacement therapy do you offer?
Hormone Replacement Therapy comes in several forms including pills, troche, patches, gel, creams, injections or pellets. There are different types of HRT. Some have only one hormone, while others have a combination.
Our preferred Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) uses bioidentical hormones derived from natural sources and compounded to be an exact structural match to the hormones inside the human body. Synthetic hormones are often derived from animals and combined with chemicals to create a hormone therapy that is similar, but not exactly like human hormones.
Bioidentical hormones have been heralded as a natural hormone therapy option and are effective for disease prevention as well as eliminating uncomfortable symptoms that often occur as part of the aging process.
Can you prescribe medications?
Yes. Pharmaceuticals are still a part of many treatment plans we put together. But what makes us different from your typical doctor’s office is that medications are not the first or only part of your treatment plan. We like to look at your entire health picture before prescribing medications — health history, diet, lifestyle, etc. If we feel medication will be beneficial, we’ll include it in your plan. We also like to add certain supplements when you are taking prescription medication, like CoQ10 when you are prescribed a statin or B12 if you are on Metformin.
Do you offer meal plans or meal replacements with your weight loss programs? We offer both meal planning and partial or full meal replacement options for our weight loss programs. It’s up to you and your provider to decide which one will work best for you. But your weight loss plan will be customized to you based on your needs, goals, and lifestyle.
