You hold yourself to a high standard in everything else. Your health care should be no different. Most men accept less than they should from their health because they’ve never been offered anything better.
At Activated Health & Wellness, we’re changing the standard of care.
We take the time to understand what is actually happening in your body, go beyond the surface of a standard workup, and build a care plan around what your biology specifically requires.
Men are conditioned to push through. They’re taught to minimize symptoms, delay appointments, and treat their own health as the last item on a long list.
When your hormones shift, your metabolism slows, or your other systems fall out of balance, the effects accumulate. Fatigue becomes the baseline and focus becomes harder to sustain. The drive and resilience that once felt effortless starts to fade.
Preventive care is about understanding how your body is functioning right now, while there’s still room to get ahead of it. At Activated Health & Wellness, we evaluate the root causes of what you’re experiencing and build a care plan around optimizing how every system in your body functions.
Men rarely seek care for a single dramatic symptom. What brings most men in is subtler, like a gradual reduction of function that’s difficult to name but impossible to ignore once you’re paying attention.
This includes recovery that takes longer than it should, cognitive sharpness that requires more effort to sustain, weight gain, and overall, a body that’s working, but not at the level it’s capable of.
These patterns are common, but they’re not random. In most cases, they reflect an underlying imbalance in hormonal, metabolic, or systemic function that a thorough clinical evaluation can identify and a targeted treatment plan can address.”
Low testosterone and hormonal imbalance Including total and free T, DHEA, and related markers | Persistent fatigue and low energy Less stamina, slower recovery, running on empty despite adequate rest |
Weight gain and metabolic resistance Especially abdominal weight resistant to diet and exercise efforts | Brain fog and reduced mental sharpness Difficulty staying focused, slower recall, reduced drive |
Loss of muscle mass and physical performance Muscle becomes harder to build and easier to lose as testosterone and growth hormone decline with age. | Low libido and sexual function Changes in drive, performance, or satisfaction |
Mood shifts and emotional flatness Irritability, low motivation, reduced wellbeing | Poor sleep and unrefreshing rest Waking tired, difficulty staying asleep, reduced recovery overnight |
Metabolic and cardiovascular risk factors Elevated glucose, insulin resistance, cholesterol and inflammatory markers | Long COVID symptoms Fatigue, brain fog, and systemic changes persisting after infection |
Not sure if what you’re experiencing warrants a visit? Take the free Male Symptom Checklist at activated.health. It takes five minutes and gives your provider a meaningful starting point before your first appointment.
Our services are not delivered as standalone treatments.
Each one is integrated into a whole-person care plan built around your diagnostics, your history, and your goals.
Restoring the hormonal foundation that drives energy, performance, and vitality.
Testosterone is not just a gym supplement, it's foundational to energy metabolism, body composition, cognitive function, mood, cardiovascular health, and sexual wellness. Levels begin declining in most men in their early 30s, and the effects often develop so gradually that men adapt to the decline without realizing what they have lost.
At Activated Health & Wellness, we begin with a comprehensive hormonal evaluation, assessing total and free testosterone, SHBG, estradiol, and a full metabolic picture before recommending any treatment.
From there, we develop a protocol matched to your biology and goals. Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) can be delivered via pellet, injection, cream, or gel. We monitor your response at regular intervals and adjust accordingly, with attention to long-term safety and optimal outcomes throughout.
Who this is for: Men noticing a gradual decline in energy, drive, physical performance, or mood, particularly in their 30s, 40s, and 50s and beyond, who want to understand what is driving those changes before they become more significant.
A physician-supervised program built around your body and why it holds on to weight.
Most men who struggle with weight are not lacking discipline, they're working against a physiology that has shifted hormonally, metabolically, or both. When testosterone declines, insulin sensitivity decreases, cortisol rises chronically, or thyroid function slows, the body's default shifts toward fat storage and away from the energy output that feels natural at a healthy weight. A caloric approach alone cannot correct these drivers.
Our medical weight loss program begins by identifying exactly what your body is working against. We then build a structured plan that may include GLP-1s, hormone optimization, nutritional guidance, and a sleep evaluation where indicated. Everything is structured around our 20-week program, which includes EKG, interval lab monitoring, body composition tracking, and ongoing provider accountability. The goal is not a number, it's a body functioning efficiently, with the energy and physical presence to match.
Who this is for: Men carrying weight who haven't responded to weight loss efforts, or who suspect hormonal or metabolic factors may be at play. Also well-suited to men who want medically supervised structure and accountability.
A complete picture of how your body is actually functioning, not just whether it's diseased.
The standard annual physical is designed to catch illness, not optimize function. It measures a narrow slice of your biology and sends you home with a clean bill of health. It tells you very little about your hormonal environment, your metabolic efficiency, your inflammatory burden, or the early patterns that predict decline years before they become diagnosable conditions.
Our personalized medicine approach goes significantly deeper than the standard checkup. We evaluate hormones, thyroid, adrenal function, metabolic markers, cardiovascular risk factors, nutritional status, and inflammatory load. Plus we spend real time with you understanding your history, your goals, and your day-to-day experience. Every recommendation is built around your specific picture, and as your health evolves, so does your care plan.
Who this is for: Men who are ready to understand their health beyond the basics of a yearly checkup through proactive, thorough, ongoing care.
| Body Sculpting — PHYSIQ | Non-invasive body contouring using heat and electrical muscle stimulation to reduce localized fat and improve tone. No surgery or downtime. Works well as a complement to a medical weight loss program. |
| Long COVID Care | A root-cause approach to persistent post-COVID symptoms including fatigue, cognitive impairment, hormonal disruption, and systemic inflammation. We treat the whole picture, not individual symptoms in isolation. |
| Medical Aesthetics | Anti-wrinkle injections and customized medical-grade skincare treatments delivered by experienced providers in a clinical setting. A natural complement to a hormone optimization or weight loss journey. Because looking and feeling your best go hand in hand. |
Many of our valued patients are not sick, they are functioning, just not as well as they know they could be. They are carrying more weight than they want, moving through their days with less energy than they should have, and chalking it up to the inevitable realities of a busy life and getting older. What they haven’t had is a provider who looked at the full picture and helped them understand what was actually driving it.

“I was incredibly fat and out of shape. 5'11 and 340 lbs. Through bloodwork, meal planning, medicine, and a workout routine I am down 80 lbs. She's the first doctor that's truly ever listened. I'm in the best shape of my life and pushing 45 years old.”
Not at all. Many of our male patients come in proactively. They feel reasonably well but want a comprehensive baseline and a plan for staying that way. Preventive evaluation is one of the most valuable things we offer.
Our standard men’s panel goes well beyond a basic metabolic screen. Depending on your concerns and history, we typically evaluate total and free testosterone, SHBG, estradiol, full thyroid panel, fasting insulin and glucose, HgbA1c, a complete lipid panel, inflammatory markers, and nutritional status. Additional markers are ordered as your clinical picture warrants.
When appropriately prescribed and monitored, TRT is considered safe and well-tolerated for most men. We track CBC, PSA, estradiol, and other relevant markers at regular intervals throughout treatment to ensure your response stays within a healthy and optimal range.
The depth of our diagnostic workup, the time we spend with you, and the individualization of your care plan are meaningfully different from a conventional primary care visit. We take a thorough family history, which often warrants earlier preventive screening than standard guidelines recommend, and we’re building a comprehensive picture of your health rather than checking boxes against it
Start with a consultation. Many men come in knowing something is off but not knowing what. This is exactly what our evaluation is designed to figure out. You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis or a specific concern.
We are not an insurance-based practice. This allows us to spend more time with our patients and focus on truly personalized care. If you need labs or imaging, you can still use your insurance for those, and out-of-network benefits may apply. We can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement (note: this does not apply to Medicare patients). HSA and FSA are also accepted. For financing, we accept CareCredit and Cherry, subject to approval. We also offer 15% off for first responders and their spouses as a thank-you for their service.
Schedule a consultation and let’s build a plan that keeps you at your best.
